Samoa Manu Sina

Expressions of Interest are being called for our Samoan female rugby players for our Manusina Women’s 15 aside Rugby Team who will participate in the Oceania Women’s Rugby Tournament in Fiji in November.

Samoa Rugby are committed to growing the Women’s game both locally and abroad and fully aware of the number of Samoan women playing in domestic representative competitions in New Zealand and Australia. It has been a considerable period where we have not fielded a 15 aside team with the emphasis in trying to grow 7 and 10 aside rugby locally to get to a domestic competition to fulfil World Rugby requirements.

In order to be competitive on the International Rugby scene, we are casting the net far and wide within the regions where there is a strong Samoan populace. If you think you can contribute to a successful Manusina team and playing at the representative level already, please register your interest and Samoa Rugby will be in touch with the next stage.

Time is against us, however, we are confident that we can put together a competitive Manusina team. November will be a busy month for Samoa women’s rugby with the Oceania 7’s fielding the Manusina 7’s. The 7’s team will all be domestically based out of Samoa.
