Saracens Women Preview

Saracens Women have named their side to face Aylesford Bulls at Surrey Sports Park for Saturday’s round twelve Women’s Premiership clash, kick off 13h30.

Hooker Kat Evans returns to the starting line-up and is joined in the front row by Geri Thomas (loosehead prop) and Karlee Walters (tighthead prop).

Ellie Gattlin moves into the second row to partner with captain Sonia Green. There is one change to the back row as Kat Robinson comes in for Lauren Newman at openside flanker with Bryony Cleall at no. 8.

At half-back, April Brown starts at scrum half with Zoe Harrison continuing at fly-half.

In the backs, Claire Allan is ruled out for the remainder of the season following a knee injury picked up away at Worcester Valkyries so is replaced by Garnet Mackinder on the wing. French flyer Seraphine Okemba returns from injury to start on the right wing and Emily Scott slots in at fullback to complete the back three. Charlotte Barras and Nina Vistisen resume their centre partnership.

Speaking ahead of the match, head coach Rob Cain said: “We are really looking forward to another challenge this weekend away to Aylesford. We have been building well in this second round and are excited to seeing how far we can keep growing as a team.”
