Growing up in Auckland New Zealand, Faaee easily found rugby and played her first union game at the age of 16 in high school playing center. With no women’s program at her school, Faaee and her teammates recruited the school custodian to head coach the squad. She moved to the United States in 2013 earning her first cap as a USA Eagle in 2015 against Canada. Heading into the Women’s Rugby World Cup 2017, Faaee led the US team as Captain, finishing 4th overall. Stateside, Tiffany playes club rugby in the Women’s Premier League with New York Ruby Club.
Having retired from the national team, Faaee has kept up with the game by trying her hand in the broadcast booth.
