Squads: Two senior Ladies sides, U18, U15 & U13 age groups
About the team:
Since their beginnings in 1998, Aylesford Bulls Ladies have grown into the premier team in the South eastern corner of England, attracting players from all over Europe and the Southern Hemisphere.
There have been ups and downs along the way. The 2005/06 season saw the Bulls promoted to Championship 2 South East with an unbeaten record, along with the formation of a 2nd XV and introduction of youth girls’ rugby. Sadly, 2006 saw the tragic loss of a friend and former captain prematurely to cancer. Natalie Garrett was an amazing player, a true friend and clubman. Her initials, NJG, are embossed on the club’s playing shirt and inspire the players to always strive to be the best they can be. In 2009/10 the team narrowly avoided relegation and this prompted a new structure, with new coaching staff, a robust recruitment plan and renewed desire.
The 2010/11 season was a year to savour, winning Championship 2 SE unbeaten then overturning Plymouth Albion in the promotion play-off. The 2nd XV also gained promotion, the U18s achieved second place in their league and the U15s not only won their South region leagues, they also became National 10s & 7s champions.
Premiership promotion came Aylesford’s way in 2012/13 and the club are now set to take on their biggest challenge yet.
