Saracens Women have named their side to face Wasps Ladies at Allianz Park on Saturday for the fourth round of the Tyrrells Premier 15s, kick off 14h00.
Rob Cain has made only one change to the starting side that ran in twelve tries in a big win away to Worcester Valkyries last weekend. Kay Searcy is promoted from the bench to fill the blindside flanker jersey and will partner Poppy Cleall and Marlie Packer, who scored an impressive half dozen on her debut, in the backrow.
At lock, Sonia Green will line-up alongside Valeria Fedrighi, whilst in the front row, Kat Evans starts at hooker flanked by Loz Salisbury at loosehead prop and Hannah Botterman at tighthead prop.
At half-back, last week’s Player of the Match Georgie Gulliver is named at scrum-half, with Zoe Harrison playing alongside her at fly-half. At centre, the Nina Vistisen and Helena Rowland continue their partnership, with the back three of captain Lotte Clapp and Garnet Mackinder on the wings and Rowan White at full-back.
Speaking ahead of the match, head coach Rob Cain said: “Wasps have been playing some exciting, aggressive ball carrying rugby and with their several high profile signings they will want to continue to see instant results and a climb up the league table.
“We have lots of positives to build on from last week and it’s going to be great to back at Allianz Park tomorrow. Our attacking intent continues to grow as does our recognition of each other’s strengths, and our work rate has been unquestionable off the ball.
“The key for us is to keep focusing on what we want, when we want it and to keep working hard to make those things materialise in real time.”
Tickets for the Saracens Women v Wasps Ladies match will be available to buy on the gate priced at £5/£3 under 12s, cash only. The game is free for season ticket holders.
